Below please find how to arrive Vrinda Bhumi coming from Sao Paulo City, capital of the State of Sao Paulo.
From São Paulo City – By Bus
You must go to the Tietê Bus Station -- Rodoviária Tietê (where it is also the the Subway Station – Blue Line) and go to the VIAÇÃO COMETA balcony. Buy a bus ticket to Caxambu.
The ticket will cost around US$ 25.00 (twenty five dollars) and please be prepared for a long trip, approximately seven hours, considering that the bus stops in many cities during the journey.
Among others we would suggest two options:
From Monday to Friday, there is a bus leaving Rodoviária Tietê to Caxambu at 7h00 a.m. The bus Will arrive Caxambu at 2h00 p.m.
In the same bus station, Rodoviária de Caxambu, you must take another bus to Baependi. The ticket will cost around US$ 1.50 (one dollar and fifty cents).
Arriving Baependi you immediately have to go to Bar do Ponto to take the bus that goes to Piracicaba and leaves at 3h00 p.m. (Please see the map below) Ticket costs around US$ 5.00 – (five dollars).
Another option is travelling during the night in the bus that leaves Rodoviária Tietê to Caxambu at 11h00 p.m. Remember that the bus will arrive Caxambu Bus Station – Rodoviária de Caxambu around 5h30 a.m.
In the same Bus Station in Caxambu, you must take another bus to go to Baependi and the ticket will cost around US$ 2.00 (two dollars).
Arriving Baependi you must go to “Bar do Ponto” and take a bus to Piracicaba at 2h00 p.m. (Please see the map below). Ticket will cost around US$ 4.00 (four dollars)
As you must be in Baependi before 2h00 p.m. to take the bus to Piracicaba you will have available time, while in Caxambu and we would suggest you to visit the Water’s Park – Parque das Águas, with many different potable water fonts, a historical place.

Getting the bus to Piracicaba, ask the driver to stop close to MARISA’s house. He will orient you how to get there. Marisa will provide transport to take you to Vrinda Bhumi that is located 8 km from there.
