The farm has been recently established, so for now the facilities are basic and rustic. The idea with the volunteer program is that every day more people help to build a beautiful place, not only with the economic contribution required, but more from the heart, through personal collaboration in the constructions, artistic details, vegetable garden, among others.
The constructions are made in wood and because of the weather, they require fixing every now and then. The cooking is in firewood and the bathrooms we have are conventional water ones and nonwater (dry) ones. We have an orchard, and we are starting a compost program and an organic vegetable garden.
The volunteers give an economic contribution of $13 dollars per day, in order to cover food and accommodation expenses in the farm. They must bring a sleeping bag, since during the night it can get cold and blankets may not be enough. The farm is more elevated above sea level than Cali, when there are cloudy days it can be a little bit chilly, that’s why we suggest you bring clothing for cold weather. The water used to shower is cold, since it comes directly from the river.
If you feel comfortable with us and with the place, and after three weeks you wish to continue staying at the farm, we can talk and come to an agreement about the accommodation fees. What we long for is that you feel like at home and that you can make this place like your place.
The service done every day is for five hours, arranged according to your needs and desires, in the morning or afternoon, or some hours in the morning and others in the afternoon. We have spaces where we do Yoga Inbound classes, workshops about Conscious art and agriculture, recycling, bio-construction and meditation.
The view from the farm and in the farm is natural, peaceful and calm, we breath pure mountain air and there’s not need to travel a lot, just one hour away from the city of Cali.
