From Quito just get a direct bus to Tena from the Southern Bus Station, it´s a $6 fare and 4 to 5 hour trip. When you arrive to Tena you have to get another bus to TALAG, only a half hour ride. These smaller buses are currently leaving one block away from the main bus station and depart every 45 minutes..(last bus 6.30pm) Just tell the driver to drop you off 1 km before Talag, by the Monkey (el mono in Spanish).
We have a large sign on the right hand side with a monkey statue… follow the path in… and give us a shout… If there is no one in the house when you arrive do not worry, remember there are almost 60 acres of land… just make yourself at home in the hammocks until someone turns up.
