We are here in Vrindavan, India, the city of the five thousand temples, working hard in an exemplary community called Vrinda Kunja. Voulnteer service is available in many interest areas to help you learn and grow as well as to help us improve our service to the local community.

Vrinda Kunja is an ashram founded by Swami Bhakti Alok Paramadvati and residents here follow the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. The Vrinda Kunja community accepts all volunteers regardless of faith, so long as they abide by ashram rules.*

In our Ashram, you will learn about hatha yoga, meditation on Hare Krishna mantra as prescribed by Lord Chaitanya when he and his associates helped found this pilgrimage town, etc...

We welcome those who want to expand their awareness. You can also participate in our workshops, which will help you reconnect with and use your creativity as well as make new friends who speak different languages. These opportunities will provide you with the experience of a lifetime.

“Simple living, high thinking” is was what Gandhi said we should all aspire towards. You will see what this philosophy means to us here at Vrinda Kunja while living in comfortable accommodations, eating pure vegetarian meals and taking part in activities that nourish the mind, body and soul.

From Delhi international airport, the best way to get to Vrindavan is by taxi. We make arrangements with a well trusted and experienced driver to pick you up at the airport and bring you straight to Vrinda Kunja (3 1/2 hours). The cost is 35 USD.

PLEASE note that both of these travel options require you to notify us of your plans so we may help you reach Vrinda Kunja in the most hassle-free manner possible.

Ashram rules are simple and include basic observances common to spiritual communities in Vrindavan: modest dress, vegetarian only meals, no drugs or alcohol, and no illicit sex.
