Our Team

Dear friends,

Now presenting; the international team that is behind our program of Tourism and Volunteering in the Eco Villages. In every Eco Village you will find enthusiastic teams, however behind them there is also another base team of our organization. This team advises tourists and / or volunteers regarding the sites to visit according to their preferences and interests. In addition, it is the team that allows the general communication of our entire Network.

B. A. Paramadvaiti Swami – Director

B. A. Paramadvaiti Swami was born on October 12, 1953, in Germany. From an early age he was interested in the area of ​​education, mainly in order to propose improvements to the educational system that would allow students to obtain valid tools in facing the modern world and its constantly changing nature. Due to his great desire to create solutions and give answers to society, he founded the Eco Yoga Village Network 28 years ago, which inspires the propagation of caring for the Mother Earth in varying forms, through; art, agriculture, food, health amongst many others. These centers are also Yoga Monasteries, which allow those who live or attend not only to learn more about ecology, but also to strengthen their spirituality based on Vedic principles.


 

Triana Julio Guerrero – General Coordinator

Triana, of Chilean nationality, English teacher and bilingual translator joined the team of Eco Yoga Villages in 2009. Her role is to keep the Eco Villages in contact, communicating with them so that all the information provided to tourists and volunteers is up to date. In addition, publicises the criteria that BA Paramadvaiti Swami delivers for the improvement of quality and services in each village.

 

Mary Riess Stevens – Communications

Mary is of American nationality, environmental administrator with Masters in sustainable development joined the team of Eco Yoga Villages in the year 2013. However, even before forming part of the team, founded her own Eco Yoga Village, Mayapurita in Colombia, which allowed her to develop a strong experience in the attention of tourists and volunteers. Currently, she plays a fundamental role in guiding those who write us and putting them in direct contact with the managers of the villages.

 

 

Marian Respirar – Field Training

Marian from Chile joined the team in 2011 as leader of the famous Eco Yoga Village; Eco Truly Park located in the city of Lima, after 4 years of leadership began to travel throughout the different Eco Villages of South America sharing their experience, helping local leaders to strengthen their tourism and volunteering programs.

 


Yuliet Araque Mejía – Communications

Yuliet from Colombia joined the team in 2015. Currently, she lives between Bolivia and Chile, being the manager of Inbound Tours circuits. In addition, she maintains contact with volunteers and tourists through social networks, strengthening the promotion of all our Eco Villages via Internet.
