Eco Truly Park is a beautiful ecologically friendly eco-village on the ocean-front based on Vaisnava principles, strategically located on the Chacra y Mar beach in the district of Aucallama, province of Huaral, an hour and a half by bus or car (63 KM) north of the capital Lima. We live in accordance with the principles of non-violence, simple living and high thinking, and visitors can learn and experience how it is possible to live happily and in harmony with nature, with others and with oneself. We are looking for open minded people with the desire to practice tolerance, compassion and patience.
Our eco village is visited by people from Lima and around the world, having the experience of an alternative lifestyle. The nearby areas of Huaral have been positively influenced in terms of developing an ecological consciousness. According to recent professional studies, Eco Truly Park programs have become a model of alternative sustainable solutions for more than half of Peruvian citizens in extreme poverty (around 14 million inhabitants) living in marginal and rural areas. Currently, Eco Truly Park is also recognized as a major tourist destination by the local government and the Peruvian press, receiving around 75,000 from its inception.
The nearest city is 15 minutes by car where you will find international call service, there are also small shops nearby where you can find some necessary things. We are visited by people from all over the world as well as foreign volunteers and tourists. We have Wi-Fi Internet available in case you bring your laptop. Electricity in Peru is 220 volts and 60 cycles of alternating energy per second, if you need to bring a voltage converter.
Our Ecological Community is strategically located at Chacra y Mar beach, in the district of Aucallama in the province of Huaral, 1 hour and 30 minutes from the city of Lima.

By car:
To get out of any point in Lima, we recommend taking the quick access roads; For those who are close to Ate Vitarte, San Juan de Miraflores, La Molina and surrounding places, head out for the exit route, heading for the North Pan-American Highway.

Leave Lima by the North Panamericana, take the variant of Pasamayo (located at the junction
for Ancón).
At the end of the Variant take the road north (left) until you reach the junction of Chancay (with Pasamayo) turn left approximately 3 minutes, before starting the ascent of Pasamayo you will see an unpaved road, adjacent, which is born on the right side. Take this road in a straight line until you observe the constructions that characterize the place: «Trulys», follow the road until you are in front of the beach Chacra and Mar.
You can ask the locals for the "Trulys". At the reception you will find someone very friendly who will be awaiting your arrival.

If you arrive from the airport and want to save money, taking the taxi outside the airport is cheaper, you can charge between 15 and 20 soles to the whereabouts of Huaral Tourism. We also offer pick up from the airport if you wish.

The company Turismo Huaral has 2 routes make sure that the bus that you take goes by the route Pasamayo, heading to Huacho, you are left closer. The route to Huaral goes only by the variant and does not leave you near.

Paradero Crossing of Chancay or Chacra and Sea (crossing of the North Pan-American Highway with the Road to Huaral).
There you will find a bus stop for Collective Taxis; Who for the price of S /. 6.00, maximum price S /. 8.00, will take you to Chacra and Mar where is the Eco Truly Park.
From the North:
If you come from the North or from Huaraz, 1 hour 20 minutes before arriving in Lima and before entering the Pasamayo road is the whereabouts «Ovalo Chacra y Mar» there you will find a parking of Collective Taxis that will take you to the beach Chacra And Sea to 5 minutes.
To get the most out of their experience, we estimate volunteers will want to commit themselves to at least 4 hours/day. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join us; the only requirement is that you are enthusiastic about working with our community. Our basic accommodation consists of separate shared rooms for men and women; if you would prefer a separate, individual room in our hostel, we can provide that service for a slight cost.
We have a number of workshops that you can take advantage of including yoga, and vedic philosophy. You can learn the science of the soul and self realization practicing, Hatha Yoga, Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Bhakti Yoga. You are also more than welcome to help out in our kitchen, vegetarian restaurant or bakery (operational 2 days a week). If you are willing to get dirty, you are can work in our organic farm with our biodynamic agronomist who also imparts theoretical and practical classes on organic agriculture, preparation of humus, and composting in Spanish 2 days every week. More than anything we hope that you make new friends, and have the experience of a lifetime.
Cost
$10US a day in a shared room, $15US in a private room and $8US a day if you bring your tent. Included in the price is your food, 3 meals a day, basic accommodation in shared rooms for volunteers, and yoga classes Monday to Sunday.
We receive volunteers all the year and we have plenty of space for more volunteers. Eco Truly Park is a non-profit community group. We have numerous needs, which range from basic ones as well as materials (especially for our art workshop). We would greatly appreciate any donations that you would be willing to contribute!
Examples of donations might include musical instruments, art supplies or anything that you might want to leave behind as you continue your travels.
